This program is designed to integrate the minimum 900 hours of supervision with didactic instruction, in an academic program where students finish with at least a bachelor’s degree.        The Didactic Dietetics program, on the other hand, requires an internship or a preprofessional practice program following graduation from an accredited Didactic program with a bachelor’s degree. . . .

The following information is discussed during advising for dietetics at the HP/HD Advising Center and both the student and advisors sign the check point form.   Advising check points for dietetics students   ___ 1. Are the courses taken in appropriate sequence? Use the general degree requirements (i.e. the courses that are not specified on the blue sheet but listed as humanities, history or HE general degree) for filling in coursework. It is imperative that students take the Chemistry courses in the years suggested. If the sections to needed classes are closed, the student needs to go to the department or instructor and sign on the waiting list. Then, the first week of class must be attended to be considered for the class. Courses should be taken in the sequence suggested to maximize understanding. Many courses are not listed . . .
